Tracking Your Impact: A Walkthrough of Ecodrive’s Impact Evidence Tab
Learn more about how Ecodrive technology delivers verified data in real time
At Ecodrive, we have always placed verification at the center of our sustainability efforts.
We understand that for you and your customers, seeing is believing, and that’s why we’ve created the Impact Evidence tab.
Located within your Ecodrive Impact Portal, this feature allows you to explore the verified impact your contributions are making in real time.
We walkthrough the new addition to your Impact Portal below, and also discuss the ways in which you can boost brand reputation and convert more customers by communicating your verified statistics to customers.
Key Sections
Impact Stats - this section highlights the headline data of the progress you’re making with Ecodrive.
‘Total Ordered’ is the amount of Impact units you have accumulated across all environmental projects.
‘Total Verified’ reflects the amount of Impact units that have been confirmed by our partners on the ground at project sites.
For example, if your business has elected to solely support tree planting projects, your ‘Total Ordered’ amount will show the number of trees your business has committed to planting through Ecodrive. Your ‘Total Verified’ amount reflects the number of trees that have officially been planted and verified across all locations.
Your Total Verified impact is also shown as a percentage of your total orders.
Verified Impact - this section breaks down your Impact for each project that you have elected to support, displaying the Total Orders number, and Total Verified per project.
Recent Activity From The Field - this section displays information on the last batch of project results to be verified, including the date of verification, the quantity of Impact, the project supported, and the location. The ID and Coordinates data allow us to pinpoint the exact tree planted, or the pound of plastic removed from the ocean, on your behalf.
Impact Equivalence - if your business is supporting tree planting efforts, this section shows the exact amount of CO2 sequestered and the size of forest area that has been restored by your efforts so far.
If your business is supporting ocean plastic removal efforts, this section shows the exact weight of plastic and equivalent amount of plastic bottles that has been cleaned up through your support.
Recent Photo Evidence - finally, the Impact Evidence tab includes a photo gallery showcasing your impact through verified media uploaded by our partners working at project sites. You can see your impact in action, and you have the ability to download and use media across your own channels.
Verification Matters
Providing Real-Time Data That Builds Trust
The Impact Evidence tab is designed to provide transparency about the work you’re supporting, showing your audience that your commitment to sustainability is more than just words.
Total trees planted, pounds of ocean plastic removed, and carbon removal figures are all updated in real time, the moment that they are verified, so you can share your positive impact as it happens.
By incorporating this data into your marketing efforts - whether in newsletters, social media, or product packaging - you’re not only highlighting the good your business is doing but also building trust with your customers. When customers see transparent, real-time statistics, they’re more likely to engage with and trust your brand.
Photo Evidence: Bringing Your Impact to Life
Beyond statistics, we believe that visual evidence adds a personal connection to the work. In the Recent Photo Evidence section, you’ll find regularly updated images directly from the field.
These photos showcase the real-world results of your involvement, from saplings growing into trees and local workers planting new forests, to heaps of plastic being hauled out of the ocean.
Photographic evidence can be a powerful storytelling tool for your brand.
Featuring these images in marketing campaigns or on your website is a surefire way of strengthening the emotional connection with your customers. Visual proof of your impact encourages customers to feel personally involved in the solution, fostering a deeper sense of brand loyalty.
Impact-Focused Marketing: Turn Numbers into Conversions
Here are some ways to turn your verified impact into customer conversions:
- Share Impact Milestones: Use the Verified Impact Stats to celebrate milestones with your customers. For example, “Thanks to your support, we’ve planted 10,000 trees and removed 5,000 pounds of ocean plastic this year.” This reinforces the message that a consumer’s purchases are making a difference.
Presenting verified evidence is proven to increase conversions, LTV, AOV, and customer loyalty. Check out our guide to marketing your sustainability initiatives here. - Leverage Visuals: Show your customers the tangible results of their support with images of the projects they’re helping to fund. Media that shows environmental impact are highly shareable and can increase engagement across social media platforms.
- Quantify Impact: Use your project breakdown numbers to deliver an easy to digest overview of your progress. Communicating the amounts of C02 sequestered, the hectares of forest areas restored, or the plastic item equivalents that you’ve pulled from the ocean, is an effective and more familiar way of quantifying impact for your audience.
